Airspace2D: Flash Game Released

I had just stared learning AS3 and using a lot of tutorials and painstaking logic and error-fixing, I made my first professional game, Airspace2D.

It’s looks simple but the coding is far from it

  • 2D Multi-layer Virtual Star Map System
  • Garbage Collection (useless objects are deleted)

  • 13 Extensive Classes
  • User Controlled Game Objects
  • Artificial Enemy Movement Classes
  • Sound (still needs a lot more work)
  • Collision Detection with every Instance
  • OnLoad Fuctions
  • Variable Checking (Every 1/30 of a second)
  • Reset Logic
  • Health Meter
  • Mini-Bosses
  • Final Boss Battle
  • Score System
  • Server-Side High Score System (still need to test)

Future: Microsoft in 2019 (CONCEPT)

This is an amazing concept preview of how Microsoft can further advance technology by 2019. To be honest, I personally think the ideas in this video will be accomplished by 2038. Although, since the internet was created, everything has been turning exponential (our technology continues to grow faster).

Anyways, that’s enough from me, I’ll let the video say the rest (make sure you watch it on full quality).

Hello everyone,

Sorry for the geeky title, just couldn’t resist. In my mind I pictured my first post as a very extensive and detailed post on every aspect about my journey as a developer (which isn’t the most exciting thing in the world). When you actually sit down and take the time to write out a post, you kind of just babble about random subjects.

So I will not make this extensive… my internet is… expensive (I got a master’s degree in poetry, don’t be jealous).
